TweetValue.com gives you the value for your twitter profile, based on what I am not to sure ?. I am guessing that it works very similar to twitter.grader.com.

Not to sure what the value of TweetValue.com is but I can tell you that it looks cool.

• TwitterSnooze

 

TwitterSnooze is pretty darn cool. TwitterSnooze allows you to put a friend on snooze. Have you ever had someone that you follow that tweets all day long, giving you blow by blow details on a conference they are attending. Well with TweetSnooze you can put them in time out or on snooze for a day or two until they are done with the conference that you don’t care about 

• Twalala

Tired of to many tweets, need a better way to filter what you do and don’t see? Want to filter words and phrases from your tweet stream? Well Twalala is the tool for you. As they say it is like twitter with a MUTE button.

• Twistory

On a scale of 1 to 10 Twistory is a 11. Plain and simple twistory imports the history of your blog posts in your calendar program. Twistory provides an iCalendar feed that allows you to view your twitter backlog. You can even keep track of time by starting your tweets with both t or /t and Twistory will keep track of what you’re doing. There is no time lapse.

This one I am going to use. One of the best if not the best I have seen for twitter so far.

Here advertisers search for websites with high traffic to place their advertisements. The high the traffic, their advertisements will reach more people. The traffic of the websites is determined by Alexa rankings. Now we’re going to play with this traffic to make $1500 per month.

Step 1: Create a 2 page website and fill it with videos from Youtube. Add some funny pictures and also some content. Make the website looks good.
Step 2: Make space for 50 ads on the website. Buy traffic to your website (Costs $30 for 100,000 hits). The traffic will be delivered with in a month. Keep re-buying and your Alexa rankings raise high.

The State of Twitter: Thriving but Not for Everyone

This is the follow-up to my recent State of Twitter Part 1 post, in which I talked about the growth of Twitter, its proliferation in the media, and my decision to give it a try.

Along with my previous post, I conducted a survey about Twitter to over 1,500 participants.

This post is to report the results of the survey, along with my observations and a few opinions throughout.

The participants were mostly members of my Eric’s Tips newsletter. However, I also publicized it to my facebook friends, and it was re-tweeted by a few people which brought in some diversity as well.

But overall, I’d say that 80-90% of the participants were Internet marketers and aspiring entrepreneurs.

There were 927 Twitterers and 610 non-Twitterers.

I started by asking the Twitterers some basic questions about their use of Twitter:

One: Make it clear what your message is about.

Two: Make it clear what they can expect from clicking on the link

Three: Provide an element of intrigue.

Four: Provide a call to action that will encourage them to check out the link and share it with their friends and Twitter followers.

It goes without saying that you should only recommend links and resources that provide value to your followers, otherwise it will lower your reputation and reduce the number of people who will click through on links that you post in the future.

One final thing to bear in mind when constructing your tweets - If possible, keep your tweets under 120 characters in length.

I believe these are not new media.. we are entering a post media era.

Television gave us the chance to have a shared experience.. to watch things from afar in the comfort of our living room.. but it required our attention and conformity and that allow advertisers to stick their products into those same living rooms.

This wasn’t because we wanted to sit in front of the tube.. it was just a necessary step to getting to the programing.

How can a thesaurus help when I form queries? Many searchers use a thesaurus (traditional or online) to generate an initial keyword list of synonyms. By using a thesaurus, you will often find new meanings that simply wouldn't have occurred to you otherwise. There are a number of well-designed online systems that will help you plumb the depths of a word's meaning.

 The IMSA Thesaurus tool ( http://21cif.imsa.edu/nym )prompts you to browse through word meanings as you look for the right keywords.

 Thesaurus.com ( http://thesaurus.reference.com ) has an online thesaurus that offers in-depth suggestions, classified by concept. The site has many language tools including a dictionary, language translator, and a dictionary toolbar.

Plumb Design offers a unique online Visual Thesaurus that prompts the user to work in 3-dimensions as they explore word meanings. ( http://www.visualthesaurus.com/online/index.html )

How can I quickly find synonyms as I search?
One of the best ways to find synonyms is to look in the documents returned by your first query. Pay attention to an author's use of professional vocabulary. You may see words that more precisely describe just what you are looking for. Also some search engines will refine your query by suggesting alternate keywords along with the results of your

Prohibit anonymous blogging. "Anonymity creates an atmosphere in which some people might be tempted to write in an irresponsible, offensive harassing, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate manner," she says. "It also runs counter to the blogosphere's honest and transparent nature."

Provide guidance on media inquiries. Many journalists will contact bloggers in the course of writing a story. According to Flynn, a common corporate policy asks bloggers to direct all media inquiries to the organization's public-relations department.

How many people in your life do you know that wish for love, happiness, and success? I think this is a ‘no-duh’ commonality between the vast majority of the global population. I think all three of these three things are great, and I’d like for everyone who wants them to achieve them.The only problem is… people should not only be careful of what they wish for, but know what they’re wishing for. This means to whip out a dictionary and a piece of paper and thoroughly define what each of these words means for you. If you have a misrepresentation of these words in your mind, you’re going to make some huge regrettable mistakes in life.

1. Love. A quick search pulls up “a deep feeling of sexual desire and attraction.” Imagine a person that goes through life by internalizing this as their definition of love. They could easily end up in an abusive relationship with a person they are infatuated with, and stay with them even though they are miserable, because they want love.Even though it’s an unhealthy relationship, it fits into their definition of love, so they remain confused, and attached, because this is what feels right for them.

2. Happiness. Some people might consider happiness as having some laughs, others might consider it as achieving some goals, while others settle for the definition of ‘nothing went wrong today.’The way I define happiness is “being the creator of your experience, choosing to take pleasure in what you have, right now, regardless of the circumstances, while being the best you that you can be.” As it turns out, my definition is centered around the journey, not around the accomplishment, so I can take pleasure in waking up and existing each day, instead of being miserable because I don’t have a ferrari yet.

3. Success. A quick search shows success to mean “a state of prosperity or fame.” I can see why a lot of people would be depressed if they wanted to be successful and this was their idea of success. Perhaps it is possible for everyone in the world to be rich and famous, but in reality that isn’t the way our world is currently structured.Perhaps it would be ‘wiser’ to define success as something else. Something that doesn’t come for nothing, but is accessible to everyone regardless of any circumstances. I would define success as “constant and never ending improvement”. If you set goals for yourself, and you take time each day, to work towards your goals, then you are successful in my book.At the end of the day, the questions we ask of ourselves determine the type of people that we will become…
