Rube Goldberg So we’ve been working on a project for the last while. To me personally, this is a BIG project. Probably the largest thus far of my photography career, and it’s not even a photo-shoot. Along with the usual workload at 2D Photography Inc., we’ve been secretly (somewhat) working on this Rube Goldberg Machine for nearly six months give or take.

Some of you may have guessed what we were up to from Our Website but hopefully it was still a surprise. It’s been a while since the idea came to me in late November, 2010. We started construction on it in January and while there have been a lot of delays, we’ve essentially just worked our butts off to get this thing shot. So without any further adieu.. here it is!!

Terpenoids share a precursor with phytocannabinoids, and are all flavour and fragrance components common to human diets that have been designated Generally Recognized as Safe by the US Food and Drug Administration and other regulatory agencies. Terpenoids are quite potent, and affect animal and even human behaviour when inhaled from ambient air at serum levels in the single digits ng·mL−1.

They display unique therapeutic effects that may contribute meaningfully to the entourage effects of cannabis-based medicinal extracts. Particular focus will be placed on phytocannabinoid-terpenoid interactions that could produce synergy with respect to treatment of pain, inflammation, depression, anxiety, addiction, epilepsy, cancer, fungal and bacterial infections (including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus).

Scientific evidence is presented for non-cannabinoid plant components as putative antidotes to intoxicating effects of THC that could increase its therapeutic index. Methods for investigating entourage effects in future experiments will be proposed. Phytocannabinoid-terpenoid synergy, if proven, increases the likelihood that an extensive pipeline of new therapeutic products is possible from this venerable plant.

Postman Pat's Last Day.

Hi Grand-Folks
It was Postman Pat's

last day on the job after

35 years of carrying the mail

through all kinds of weather

to the same villages and towns.

 

When he arrived at the first

house on his route,

he was greeted by the whole

family there, who all hugged

and congratulated him and

sent him on his way with a

cheque for £50.

 

At the second house they presented

him an 18-carat gold watch.

The folks at the third house handed

him a bottle of 15-year old

Scotch whisky.

At the fourth house he was

met at the door by a dumb

blonde in her lingerie.

She took him by the arm and

led him up the stairs to the

bedroom where she blew his mind

with the most passionate love

he had ever experienced.

When they went downstairs,

the blonde fixed him a full

English breakfast: Bacon,

Eggs, Sausage & Tomato

with freshly squeezed orange juice.

As she was pouring him a cup of

steaming coffee,

he noticed a pound coin in the saucer.
'All this was just too wonderful for words,'

he said, 'but what's the pound for?'

'Well,' said the dumb blonde,

'Last night, I told my husband that

today would be your last day and

that we should do something special

for you'.

'I asked him what I should give you'.
He said, 'Fuck him.... Give him a quid.'
She smiled shyly and said,

'The breakfast was my idea.'
